We still need course marshals. Everything else is full.
The Moore and Westmoore Alumni Associations have teamed up to present the Annual Moore War Run. This 5K run through downtown Moore benefits the scholarship funds for both high schools. This run is sanctioned by the USATF and timed with ChampionChips.
We're also hosting a community-wide Pasta Party and Packet Pick Up, Friday, August 26 at Westmoore High School. $5 tickets may be purchased at www.moorewarrun.com.
Race Details
When: Race begins at 7:30 a.m. August 27, 2011
Where: Route begins at Moore High School, 300 North Eastern Avenue, Moore, OK
How: Runners may register online at http://www.moorewarrun.com
Why: All proceeds from the race benefit the scholarship programs of the Moore and Westmoore High School Alumni Associations.
This is a tobacco-free event.
More than 300 runners participated in the 2009 and 2010 Moore War Runs. It absolutely would not be possible without the help of our volunteers.

To sign up as a volunteer, please read through the "Ticket Types" which include volunteer opportunities for this event. There is a column that says FREE, that is just confirming that to volunteer for this event, there is no fee.
Volunteer Positions Available:
Pasta Party and Packet Pickup - Friday, August 26 from 5 pm-8:30 pm at Westmoore High School, 12613 S Western
Race Day Registration Table - Saturday, August 27 from 6:15 am until 7:45 am at Moore High School, 300 N Eastern.
Race Day Course Marshals - Saturday, August 27 from 6:30 am until 8:30am.
Water Stop - Saturday, August 28 from 6:30 am until 8:30 am.
